Cairo,
January 27th, 2019 – During
a signing ceremony held today and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Sahar Nasr,
Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation and Ms. Agnès
Pannier-Runacher, Minister of State, attached to the Minister of Economy and Finance
of France, Tatweer Misr, the leading Egyptian real estate developer, announced
the signing of an MoU with Schneider Electric – Egypt, the global leader in
digital transformation of energy management and automation. According to the agreement Schneider Electric
will work with Tatweer Misr in building and designing smart city facilities in
its three projects “IL Monte Galala – Sokhna, Fouka Bay – North Coast and
Bloomfields – Mostkabal City” utilizing Schneider Electric state of the art EcoStruxureTM architecture and platform in managing critical
infrastructures such as: Electricity, HVAC, Water, Gas, Data networks, Data
Centers, Data Center Infrastructure Management software (DCIM), Traffic and
Security and Command Operation/Control Center.
An innovative, agile solution that combines tried and
tested management software with hardware, Schneider’s globally recognized state
of the art solution EcoStruxureTM enables Tatweer Misr to gain valuable insights from various data to
make environments smarter, more secure and comfortable and up to 30 percent
more efficient. By connecting everything from sensors to services, this
comprehensive solution integrates key systems such as energy, HVAC, lighting,
fire safety, garbage disposal and security to make the most of new
opportunities presented by the IoT.
